In the Summer of 2018, my grandfather, Patrick Lipka was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. Myeloma is a rare type of cancer that forms within the plasma cells of bone marrow. This disease can damage bones, the immune system, kidneys, red blood cell count, and also a person’s positive outlook on life. My grandfather is a United States Marine Veteran who proudly served in The Vietnam War, a retired law-enforcement detective from the Long Branch, New Jersey Police Department and The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, and past Commander of VFW 2179 in Port Monmouth, New Jersey. He has lead a life of continuously helping and serving others in his local community and now it’s time to support him in his hour of need.

In 2018, an estimated 1,735,350 new cases of Cancer will be diagnosed just within the United States alone. Almost everyone at some point in their lifetime, will in some way be affected by this disease. Whether you know a relative, friend, colleague, neighbor, or you are personally a survivor, please pledge your support to conquer cancer and raise awareness through the purchase of a limited edition t-shirt I have designed with the help of Fundit. Proceeds from every t-shirt purchase will directly go to help pay for excess costs for my grandfather, Patrick Lipka’s Multiple Myeloma Cancer Treatments. I thank each and everyone of you who will support Pat in fighting Myeloma and his journey to remission.
