Raise your hand if your hair has ever been touched or tousled by an uninvited stranger? ✋ I remember the first night I went out on the town with my newly transitioning curls. It was a big deal for me. My perfectly flat ironed hair had always been my safety blanket. A man I barely knew recognized me and immediately shook his hand through the top of my hair, like a PET. 🐶  No sir, I am NOT your pet, and my hair is not yours to touch. 🚫 This was the first of many incidences like this. 🙄  This shirt is for anyone who is tired of being treated like something less than human because of their hair. This shirt is a statement that we won’t be touched without invitation. Part of the proceeds for this shirt will go toward an awesome anti-bullying/cyber bullying nonprofit.
